#GE2020 Debates Day (Day 02): Your preferred party won the English TV debate; the PAP swept the Mandarin debate

Today, the top four political parties with the highest number of candidates running in GE2020 joined two debates. One in English, one in Mandarin. Each party sent one person to participate. Parties had about 30 hours to prepare, because invitations were only sent out at the end of the nomination process.

Nomination Day marks the start of the general election. This year, all 17 group representation constituencies and all 14 single-member constituencies will be contested, which means there were no walkovers. There are only two three-cornered fights: In Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC, and in Pioneer SMC.
